House Rules & Terms and Conditions

By entering Garden of Blessings, all agree to abiding by the House Rules and Terms and Conditions

  • Opening hours: Winter opening: Fajr till Maghrib, Summer opening 7am – 8pm, 7
    days a week.
  • Maximum driving speed limit of 5mph on site.
  • Visitors must park in the designated car park.
  • Driving onto the grass is prohibited. Anybody who breaks this rule will be responsible
    for making good of damages to their own property and Garden of Blessings.
  • Garden of Blessings is not liable for any damage to your cars or personal property
    whilst on our site.
  • Do not leave any rubbish on site, please use the designated bins.
  • Return chairs provided by Garden of Blessings to the central location.
  • Purchased burial plots provide a space of L 240cm x W 140cm and no more space
    around the grave plot can be utilised.
  • Please do not leave ornaments, benches, or decorations around graves and on top of
    graves.
  • Please note that burials and grave reservations does not give ownership of land to
    people who pay for the burials/reservations. Jamia Islamia Trust is owner of the land.
  • Only flowers are allowed as decoration on the graves and must be planted within the
    boundary of the grave. Please note that reserved grave plots cannot be decorated
    and neither can flowers be planted in advance of burial.
  • There can be no use of any plot that has been reserved for burials until the burial has
    been completed. This includes decorative preparation or markings on the ground.
  • Garden of Blessings has designated white memorials, both borders and headstones
    with a particular design and specifications. These must be installed by Garden of
    Blessings or by an accredited external party subject to approval by Garden of
    Blessings and subject to the burial fee of £1250. For further information please

  • Please dress modestly and according to Islamic principles when visiting Garden of
    Blessings/on the Hijaz premises.
  • Smoking is prohibited on site.
  • Children are welcome, however they must always be accompanied by a parent or
    guardian.
  • Please do leave any gardening material on site.
  • Please do not use the material of Garden of Blessings. Anybody who breaks this rule
    will be responsible for making good of damages to their own property and Garden of
    Blessings.
  • Pathways and roadways must be left free of obstruction.
  • Do not feed the cat(s).
  • When staff is preparing a grave or when there is a burial ongoing it is not allowed to
    cause disruption by approaching them and the machinery.
